Earn With Verified Field Opportunities

SpotWalk connects approved independent contractors with nearby roofing and gutter opportunity workflows for residential and commercial properties. Training, verification, and background screening may be required before full access.

SpotWalker Opportunity: Field Lead Generation

SpotWalkers use the Field App to identify, document, and submit qualified roofing and gutter opportunities from residential or commercial properties. The app supports map-based opportunity areas, door script guidance, badge display, photo capture, lead submission, and payout tracking.

Stage 1

Eligible payout may be available after a qualified inspection is completed and verified.

Stage 2

Additional eligible payout may be available after the roof or gutter job sells, where the program includes Stage 2 earnings.

SpotInspector / Sales Opportunity

Approved inspection/sales contractors may receive assigned inspection opportunities, verify property details, support homeowners or property contacts, complete inspection notes, help manage next steps, and move qualified roofing or gutter projects forward.

Payout eligibility depends on program rules, completed inspection activity, sold-job status where applicable, and company approval.

Five steps from learning the opportunity to eligible milestone payouts.

Background Check & Verification

SpotWalk is designed to protect homeowners, property contacts, partner companies, and approved contractors. Before full Field App or inspection/sales access is granted, contractors may be required to complete identity verification, required training, and a background check.

Background check provider

SpotWalk currently plans to use SentryLink for background screening. SentryLink is a third-party background screening provider. SpotWalk does not directly create or control the background check report.

Estimated cost

The standard SentryLink National Criminal Background Check is currently listed at $19.95 per person. Additional screening may be required depending on the role, state, company program, insurance requirements, or assignment type. Additional checks may have separate costs or pass-through fees.

Who pays

Unless a specific company program says otherwise, the applicant/contractor should expect to be responsible for the required screening cost before activation.

Consent and review

A background check will only be run after the applicant provides required information and authorization. Screening results may be reviewed under applicable law and program standards. If a report contains information that affects eligibility, the applicant may have rights to review or dispute inaccurate information through the screening provider and applicable legal process.

Processing time

Most screening results may return quickly, but some reports can take longer depending on court, state, county, identity, or provider processing times.

Why it matters

This protects the homeowner experience, helps partner companies trust the platform, and supports a safer field environment.

Similar to many gig and field-service platforms, SpotWalk uses third-party screening and verification before giving full access to homeowner-facing field work.

Earnings are not guaranteed.
